This page covers strataburn.com, the website you're reading. StrataBurn is made by Sand Point Studios LLC, which is responsible for the information described here.
The sign-up form
If you ask to hear when StrataBurn opens, or give your email for a free sample pack, we keep your email address, the time, and:
- the laser type you picked, if you picked one;
- which sample pack you asked for;
- the page you signed up from, the site that linked you to us, and any campaign tags on that link (so we know which post brought you here);
- an approximate location — country, and usually region and city — worked out from your internet connection by Cloudflare, who serve this site. It is not your address, and it is often only accurate to the nearest large town.
We use it for one thing: to tell you when StrataBurn opens.
Sign-ups are stored by our form service, which runs on Cloudflare. To limit abuse it records a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, not the address itself.
Sample packs and the converter
Sample-pack downloads are handed over by a link that stops working after about fifteen minutes. The files themselves are free, and the licence on them lets you do as you like.
The file converter runs entirely inside your browser. The drawings you convert are never uploaded to us, and we don't record what you convert.
Analytics, and no tracking
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, doesn't follow you to other sites and doesn't identify you: we see totals such as page views, where visitors came from and their country. There are no advertising scripts.
Fonts and images are served from strataburn.com itself, so loading the page doesn't contact Google. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, keeps standard server logs to keep it running and secure.
Getting your details removed
Email help@strataburn.com from the address you signed up with and we'll delete it. You can also ask what we hold about you.
The StrataBurn app
When StrataBurn opens, the app will have its own privacy policy covering accounts, uploads, designs and payments. This page will link to it.
